The Session Raymond L Massey II, Moderator Jane Crow, Clerk of Session |
Historically, the government of the United States was patterned after the government of the Presbyterian Church. The church uses elections to choose church leaders and utilizes a similar system of checks and balances to maintain order.
The Session is governing body of Trinity Presbyterian Church. In Greek, "presbuteros" means "elder." We elect elders who, with the pastor and other ministers, make decisions about the life of the church.
The following church members have been elected by the congregation to serve three-year terms:
- Class of 2008: Jane Crow, Sarah Humfeld, Don Mueller, Jim Muench, Nolan Muench (Youth Elder – 1 year term), Martha Schondelmeyer
Class of 2009: Ed Coe, Michael Fues, Gary Krause, Charlotte Larrick, Sandy Lewis
Class of 2010: Mary Sue Barnard, Barbara Hoyle, Dick Potrafka, Dan Vinson, Mark Virkler
